Nancy is a full time yoga & meditation teacher whose personal practice was founded in Zen earlier in life, and her discovery of yoga brought forth this practice in an accessible and deep way which Nancy loves to share. Nancy has over 10,000 hours of training and teaching experience and specializes in guiding gentle yoga as a form of meditation in motion. As a meditation teacher, Nancy is experienced in both monastic and contemporary approaches, having spent 5 years living and practicing in Buddhist monasteries, and now translating and evolving the language of meditation to benefit modern meditators.
Nancy is a Certified Yoga Therapist as recognized by the International Association of Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and also holds a Therapeutic Yoga for Seniors certificate from Duke Integrative Medicine, a Mindful Yoga for Chronic Pain certificate from OHSU, and has served on the assistant faculty for Kripalu’s yoga teacher training program.
